• Usage data: features accessed, session duration, navigation patterns

• Analytics data via Google Analytics

Information from Third Parties

• Authentication data from Firebase Authentication
• Payment information processed by Flutterwave (we never store card details)

2. How We Use Your Information

• To create and manage your account
• To provide, personalise, and improve the app experience
• To power AI features including Professor Skull (text chat and live voice tutoring)
• To process documents you upload for AI flashcard generation
• To track study progress, streaks, and performance
• To enable Study Circle collaboration features
• To send study reminders and push notifications (with your permission)
• To process payments for premium features
• To comply with legal obligations

3. AI Features and Your Data

Ease in Anatomy uses Google's Gemini API to power Professor Skull and AI flashcard generation. When you use these features:

• Your voice audio is streamed in real time to Google's Gemini Live API
• Documents and images you upload are sent to Google's Gemini API for analysis
• Text you type in AI chat is sent to Google's Gemini API
• Google processes this data per their own Privacy Policy and API Terms of Service

We do not permanently store your voice audio or uploaded documents. They are processed in real time and not retained after your session ends. AI-generated content is for educational purposes only and is not a substitute for professional medical advice.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored using Google Firebase (Firestore), protected by industry-standard encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. Data may be stored on servers outside Nigeria, including in the United States, where Google operates data centres. By using the app, you consent to this transfer.

5. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your personal data. We share information only with:

• Google LLC — Firebase, Google Analytics, Gemini API
• Flutterwave — payment processing for premium subscriptions
• Other users — content you choose to share (shared flashcard decks, Study Circle posts)
• Legal authorities — if required by Nigerian law or court order

6. Your Rights Under NDPR

• Access: request a copy of your personal data
• Rectification: request correction of inaccurate data
• Erasure: request deletion of your account and data
• Portability: request your data in a machine-readable format
• Withdraw consent: at any time where processing is based on consent

7. Children's Privacy

Ease in Anatomy is designed for university-level students. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal data, contact us immediately and we will delete it promptly.

With your permission, we send push notifications to remind you to study. You can disable these at any time through your device settings without affecting your ability to use the app.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes within the app and update the date above. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
